Married to his sweetheart in 1988, whom he met in a high school play in 1980, they chose Tulsa as their home despite economic pressures in Oklahoma at that time. Although Laura is a Sooner and Michael is a Cowboy, they both agree on travel destinations and dining venues. Now residing in Bixby, Michael and Laura have three grown sons. An avid ATV rider who loves the outdoors, Michael enjoys a good pickleball challenge and strives yearly to improve his golf game.
